COVID-19 > Our Commitment to Health

Posted on: March 12th, 2020 by Allie Voss No Comments

The COVID-19 outbreak is a continuously evolving situation, and your safety and well-being is our top priority. For this reason, We are committed to continually monitoring information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, federal, state and local agencies to help ensure that the actions we’re taking are in line with the latest recommendations and guidelines.

Please review these reminders and general information regarding health and safety at the club that will help keep you and our community safe and well.

What we are doing:

  • We are using a hospital-grade cleaning solution (as recommended for use by the CDC on similar viruses) for all facility cleaning needs.
  • We have proactively increased cleaning procedures, adding 4 more shifts to be completed daily with focus on high-touch surfaces.
  • Sanitation Stations with alcohol-based hand sanitizer are available throughout the club for easy access and convenient use in between hand washes.
  • Also part of our Sanitation Stations, are disinfectant wipes to wipe down equipment and surfaces before and after use.
  • We are adding more educational signage to emphasize the location of our Sanitation Stations throughout the club, as well as remind all to take proactive measures to stay well.
  • We are committed to continually following updates and protocol suggested by the CDC, Department of Public Health, and other credible agencies to best ensure the safety of our communities.

What you can do to stay well (and what we’ve also asked of our employees):

  • Stay home if you’re feeling sick.
  • Frequently wash your hands using hot, soapy water for 20 seconds—this is the best way to control transmission in normal, healthy adults.
  • If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Engage in no-contact greetings. Avoid shaking hands, as well as high fives and touching the hands of others.
  • Cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze with a tissue or flexed elbow; throw tissue away immediately and wash hands.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, mouth, and nose.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time, and we will keep you informed of any new developments which impact you. If you have any questions or concerns in the meantime, we’re always here for you—just reach out to us.
