Trainer Tips with Nick Latterell: How to do a proper incline push up on a smith machine! Adjust the bar height to a comfortable level and keep in mind the higher the bar is the easier it’ll be. Lower your chest to the bar while holding the plank and press away to starting position. Start with 10-12 reps, and 3-4 sets. When you feel yourself improving, challenge yourself by lowering the bar! If you don’t know how to use the smith machine, ask a trainer walking around the weight floor and they would be happy to help!
