St. Patrick’s Day Green Smoothie Recipe

With St. Patrick’s Day right around the corner it felt fitting to share this delicious green smoothie recipe. It’s filled with enough protein, fat, fiber, and greens to keep you full for hours. A lot of people assume all smoothies are healthy but make sure you’re careful with those added sugars (not too much fruit, check yogurt labels, skip the juice and use unsweetened almond milk)! Being aware of these small things is so helpful when trying to make healthier choices.

What you need for this smoothie: protein (powder), fiber (chia seeds, or flax), unlimited greens (spinach and kale), 1/4 cup fruit (mango & pineapple), 2 tablespoons fat (we love using almond butter or avocado), then top it off with unsweetened almond milk! Blend and top with a couple blueberries to add a pop of color.
