Meet Pilates Instructor, Amy Jones!

Meet one of our Pilates instructors, Amy Jones! She’s been teaching Pilates equipment for 10 years and mat Pilates for 12 years. We asked Amy how she keeps an active lifestyle, her favorite things about Pilates, and advice she has for those wanting to get in shape. Here’s what she said: “I stay active through dancing professionally and running outdoors (if it’s over 15 above zero)! I am a big fan of yoga and also love trying a variety of classes to keep things interesting (I just tried a cycling class in a saltwater pool)! I love the increased awareness that Pilates brings; the mind-body connection helps people become stronger physically and more grounded and connected in many aspects of life. My advice for those wanting to get in shape is to find something you enjoy…and that small steps can be great; getting in shape doesn’t have to be an all-or-nothing approach. Don’t give up if you have a less-than-perfect workout or nutrition day, just get back on track as soon as you can.” Thanks for the awesome advice, Amy!
