Healthy Double Chocolate Banana Bread Recipe

After a handful of messages requesting this dreamy recipe… here it is! HEALTHY DOUBLE CHOCOLATE BANANA BREAD, from Fit Foodie Finds! First, preheat your oven to 350 and spray a bread pan with nonstick cooking spray. Next, in a large bowl mix together 1 cup white whole wheat flour, 1/2 cup brown (or coconut) sugar, 3/4 cup cocoa powder, 1tsp baking soda, and 1/8tsp salt. Mix well and set aside. In another bowl mix 2 beaten eggs, 3 medium mashed bananas, 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk, 2tsp vanilla extract, and 1/4 cup melted coconut oil. Once that is mixed, add to the dry ingredients and fold in 1/2 cup chocolate chips (we used dairy free semi-sweet but you can use whatever kind you prefer). Once that is all mixed, pour into the bread pan and top with some more chocolate chips or nuts if desired. Cook for 45-50 minutes, let cool, and try to not eat it all in one sitting! We brought it into the office today and the reactions have been priceless. Enjoy alongside some eggs at breakfast, or with some protein ice cream for dessert. P.S.- It’s just in time for the Super Bowl… bring to your gathering and you’ll be everyone’s favorite!
