Augie – Movie Screening

Posted on: January 23rd, 2018 by Andy Velez

Augie – A film by James Keach. Augie was considered the Steve Jobs of the fitness industry and his journey from success to significance. This film follows the life of Augie Nieto, the first person to popularize the LifeCycle in gyms across the country, and his 2005 diagnosis with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. Augie is the story of a powerful man challenged by a devastating disease, which for the first time in his life, took every bit of control from him.

To kick off our February ALS fundraising month we invite you to join us for an special advanced early screening of the film Augie, Thursday, February 1st, 6pm at the Athletic Club. We’ll provide complimentary snacks and beverages for attendees as we watch the film.

A suggested donation of $20 is recommended for attendance. 100% of proceeds go to Augie’s Quest. Donation participants will receive a complimentary limited Active4ALS t-shirt while supplies last. Please RSVP to reserve your place today! Email us at
